Most of what this page needs to say is already how the site talks, but here it is in one place.
Guidance, not diagnosis
The guides and the Wind Check on this site are general guidance: they describe what symptoms usually mean and how door types usually compare. They are not a diagnosis of your door, a promise about a repair, or a substitute for someone qualified looking at the machine in person. A garage door stores real force in its springs and cables; nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to work on that yourself.
Quotes and pricing
No page on this site states a price, and no tool on it calculates one, deliberately. Repairs are priced at the door after the fault is seen; new doors and shed rollers are quoted in writing after a free measure. Anything you read here about pricing describes the process, not a figure.
Brands and standards
Where door or opener makers are named on this site, they're named generically as part of describing the Australian market. We don't claim to be an authorised dealer, installer or service agent of any brand, and we make no compliance claim for any specific product; standards are described so you know they exist, and product compliance belongs to the product's maker.
Imagery
Some images on this site are illustrative, including stock and generated imagery. They show the kind of places, doors and work this trade deals with; they are not photographs of specific completed jobs and no image here should be read as a portfolio claim.
Local facts
Drive times, suburb characteristics and bushfire-mapping notes on this site are stated in good faith from public data and honest local knowledge, and are described per suburb rather than blanketed. Check anything that matters to your property against the primary source; for bushfire-prone land, that's the NSW Rural Fire Service.

The site is provided in good faith and kept accurate as best we can; if something on it is out of date or wrong, we'd genuinely like to hear about it through the enquiry form. Your consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to any work performed and nothing here limits them.
